The founder of CYOR, KeShaun aka Smoov, was born in a small town in Eastern North Carolina. At a young age he moved to Greensboro, NC with his mother and that is where he spent his childhood growing up from a young boy to a young man.

Growing up he always had a natural instict for having some kind of hustle. His family, being from a rural portion of the state with not much opportunity available, instilled in him at a young age the mentality of hard work. You don't have to be the best at what you do, but if you do it to the best of your ability and consistently, there is no way you can't become the best. Hard work always trumps talent. Before getting his first job at age 16, he had money ventures from various avenues. He would mow lawns, work sporting events, plant flowers, clean houses and patios, upload MP3 files to music devices for the elderly, amongst a plethora of other things.

After his original attempt to start his original clothing brand, Jiggy Team Inc., didn't go as planned, Smoov put one of his dream business ventures on the back burner as he went off to college in 2017. He always knew what he wanted to do but the perfect opportunity presented itself in March of 2020 at the very beginning of quarantine. Most people's lives slowed down at that moment but not for the CEO/Founder of CYOR... that was the turning point in his life where his life went to an entirely new level.

CYOR became his passion. His outlet. One of KeShaun's favorite quotes is a line from the late great Nipsey Hussle. The quote reads 'the highest human act is to inspire.' Create Your Own Reality is something that our CEO has lived by his entire life and he will continue to live by as he ventures ‘til the end of his marathon.
